The Oakland Raiders are moving to Las Vegas, and they invited me to help them make a huge impact in that community.
Their community outreach included the Las Vegas Ronald McDonald House, and I created four full-sized wall murals and a van wrap with a custom brand version character of their Raider Rusher mascot.
This was a difficult project, but it was worth every bead of sweat.
It was an extreme project, and I will let Rebecca Finlay, the Creative Director for the Raiders, describe it here as she left this testimonial for me:
Shawn was fantastic to work with on our project! We needed to have our Raider Rusher mascot illustrated and a Raiders-themed children’s scene created to wrap some walls in a playroom at the Ronald McDonald House in Las Vegas. It was a complicated request with many elements required – including multiple approvals and a fast turn-around. Shawn was very communicative and open to all feedback and requests. His talent is incredible – the vector art he produced blew us all away. We liked his style so much, we also asked for his help to create a matching van-wrap for the Ronald McDonald House transportation van. Our unveiling event was this past Tuesday, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. It was so colorful and cheerful – exactly what we wanted to present for this room. We would hire him again for other illustrations and design projects in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
